Why Solo Entrepreneurs Will Become One-Person Unicorns

I caught up with Kuo Zhang, President of Alibaba.com, and asked him for his hottest take on AI. What he said stopped me in my tracks.

"Now everybody is talking about AI," he told me, "but after three years, I think nobody is going to talk about that because this is water and electricity. And a lot of the solo entrepreneur will become one-person unicorn because of AI."

In the video, I tracked down Kuo Zhang at an event, asking if he was the boss. Once he confirmed, I pressed him on his boldest prediction about where AI is heading.

That's a wild claim. Solo entrepreneurs building billion-dollar companies? And nobody talking about AI in a few years? I pushed back.
